Little Women Auditions August 8th and 9th
The story of Little Women, Louisa May Alcott's famous novel, is so well known and so loved that it is hardly surprising that many attempts have been made to portray its characters upon the stage. None has yet been so successful, however, as this brilliant dramatization. The structure of the play faithfully covers that of the novel, interweaving the lives of the March girls, Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy, and Laurie, the boy next door, as they grow up happily together. All the overtones of gaiety and the undertones of sadness are here, bringing the story completely to life in a way which is both accurate and lovely. A true gem of a show that all Barn Lot patrons are sure to enjoy!

Barn Lot Theater Announces Scholarship Winners
Scholarship Recipients are:
* $500 Renewable Scholarship: Aubrey Skutt, daughter of Belinda Skutt of Columbia, Kentucky. She is a 2007 graduate of Adair County High School.
* $500 Renewable Scholarship: Wesley Peden, son of Don and Cynthia Peden of Glasgow, Kentucky. He is a 2009 graduate of the Homeschool Program.
* $2000 Scholarship: Lucas England, son of Doug and Kim England of Horse Cave, Kentucky. He is a 2010 graduate of Hart County High School.
* $1000 Scholarship: Laura Chandler, daughter of Terri Chandler of Campbellsville, Kentucky. She is a 2007 graduate of Campbellsville High School.
* $1000 Scholarship: Michael Higginbotham, son of Steve and Kim Higginbotham of Glasgow, Kentucky. He is a 2010 graduate of Glasgow High School.
