To Kill a Mockingbird Opens September 9th!

A True American Classic at Barn Lot!

On September 9, 10, 11, 16, 17, 18, 23, 24, 25 & 26 Barn Lot will present the stage version of Harper Lee's classic American Novel To Kill a Mockingbird with all performances at 7:00 pm.

Jean Louise Finch, aka Scout (Chapel Tinius), a young girl in a quiet 1935 southern town, is about to experience dramatic events that will affect the rest of her life. She and brother Jem (Noah Chambers) are being raised by their widow father Atticus (John Botts). A lawyer, Atticus explains that he's defending a young Negro, Tom Robinson (Antoine Rouse), wrongfully accused of a grave crime. Atticus fights his legal battle with a result that is part defeat, part triumph. Added to all this is the mysterious Boo Radley (Michael Ennis) who lives down the street and fascinates the siblings and their friend Dill (Jacoby Botts). The entire story is told in flashback by the grown Jean Louise (Sandy Roberts).

Veteran director Emily Coffey has a superior cast, which is rounded out by: Harold Chambers, Kathy Krug, Robert Morrison, Brandy Morgan, Robin Frazier, lee barko, Becky Taylor, Rick Barnes, Julie Bell-Parnell, Kendall Ford, Tiffany Woodward, Billy Davis and Billy Froedge.

Tickets for To Kill a Mockingbird are $10.00 for regular, $8.00 for student, senior citizen (55 and older), and active military and $5.00 for pre-school. Reservations can be made through our website or by calling 270-432-BARN.
