Imagination Ink, Barn Lot Theater's traveling troupe is ready to help kids!

 

Imagination Ink currently offers six productions.

Tales With Tails:

Tales With Tails Tales With Tails is a compilation of children's stories perfect for the younger audience! We have taken some old favorites, such as The Little Red Hen and Little Bunny Foo Foo, adapted them for the stage and are making them available to your school or library. All stories chosen reflect morals to enlighten young minds.

*This play is recommended for Pre-K-3rd graders.

 

BB's Adventures: The Mystery of the Missing Library Book:

Oh where, oh where could Violet's library book be? It's due back today and she must find it. Not to worry, Violet's dog BB knows exactly where to find the missing library book. BB guides Violet and the audience on an adventure to remember. This audience-participation play will have adults and children help solve The Mystery of the Missing Library Book.

*This play is recommended for Pre-K-3rd graders.

I Hate Bugs!!!:

I HATE Bugs!!! tells the story of young Lily and her grandmother. Lily hates bugs and insists they are gross and useless. Grandma June assures Lily that many bugs are helpful to gardeners, but Lily is not convinced until she meets a bee named Beatrice and a caterpillar named Callie. Both characters explain all about their species and also encourage Lily to read more about bugs, bees and insects. After Lily's encounters she and her grandmother race off to the library to see how much more they can learn.

*This play is recommended for Pre-K-5th graders.

Superstar:

Superstar tells the story of Annie, a young girl who struggles with self esteem and confidence, but learns through history and imagination how to work through difficulties with classmates. She is guided by a caring teacher and a few humorous friends. In her journey, Annie learns the value of friendship and overcomes adversity.

*This play is recommended for Pre-K-5th graders.

Women of Kentucky:

Women of Kentucky follows a time traveller who gets lost in Kentucky's past. Throughout her adventures, she meets many women who were significant to Kentucky's history. From Rebecca Boone to Rosie the Riveter, students are transported back in time.

*This plays is recommended for 3rd-6th graders.

Rainbow Fish:

Rainbow Fish is Barn Lot Theater's adaptation of the popular books by Marcus Pfister. Also included is the story of Rainbow Fish and the Big Blue Whale.  The stories address making friends, facing fears, and sharing.  The colorful characters and costumes of Rainbow Fish will have the children and parents raving.

*This plays is recommended for Pre-K-5th graders.
