President

Harold has been involved with Barn Lot Theater since it began in 1980 and has served as board president for the last 12 years. "Barn Lot is my outlet, my escape from the world. I can work, act, study, plan--do things which are meaningful to me. Most of all, I can enjoy the success we have achieved working together to create a place, an atmosphere, for people to enjoy and obtain some culture which was lacking here in Metcalfe."

"As I look back over the years, being a part of Barn Lot is a unique experience that I cherish. It hasn't always been easy, but it has always been enjoyable. Working with wonderful, talented people, providing an outlet for the energies of young people and presenting good entertainment for our patrons gives me a sense of pride and accomplishment I couldn't have found elsewhere". Richard has been involved with Barn Lot since it was founded in 1980.

Doris has served on the Barn Lot Board of Directors for 27 years. "I love theater and I think it is a great asset to our community. It gives children and adults an opportunity to share their many, many talents. I want to see Barn Lot continue to grow and make Metcalfe and surrounding counties proud of what we have to offer."

Mary Ann Forbes

Dinner Theater Chairperson

Mary Ann has served as a member of the Board of Directors for nearly five years and brings extensive knowledge and experience to the table, having served in numerous leadership positions, including President of the Edmonton Metcalfe-County Chamber of Commerce and a board member for Horse Cave Theater.

Virginia Janes

Virginia has been involved on some level with Barn Lot since 1980 and a board member for five years. "I think Barn Lot means so much to Edmonton and Metcalfe County. It has really helped to put Edmonton on the map. It really means a lot to me and I'm glad to be a part of it."

"The first time I volunteered at Barn Lot was during the first season--27 years ago. And I loved it! I've been involved in most aspects-- I've done make-up, made costumes, worked on sets and acted in several productions. I feel that Barn Lot has done an outstanding job of providing quality entertainment, not just to Edmonton and Metcalfe County, but to the entire region".
